Guidelines for Oral Paper and Poster Presentation

Important instructions for presenters to ensure high-quality scientific presentations and a smooth academic experience at the KSOGA State Conference 2026.

All presenters are requested to carefully read and follow the guidelines below. Compliance with the presentation format, timing, submission specifications and ethical requirements is mandatory.

Presentation Guidelines

What every presenter needs to know

Only original research studies will be accepted. Case reports are not eligible for the oral free paper category.
Presentations must be submitted in Microsoft PowerPoint format (PPT/PPTX), preferably in 16:9 widescreen format.
Slides should be clear, concise and well-organised, covering objectives, methodology, results, discussion and conclusion.
Strict adherence to the allotted presentation time is mandatory.

Presenters should rehearse their slides in advance to ensure that the complete presentation fits within the allotted time.

E-posters must be prepared using the template provided by the Organising Committee.
Follow the specified format, dimensions, orientation and submission instructions.
Include the title, authors, affiliation, objectives, methodology or case description, results, conclusion and relevant references, as applicable.
Animations, sound and video clips are not supported or permitted.

Presentation Requirements

Important instructions for e-poster authors

Only electronic posters (e-posters) are permitted. Physical posters are not allowed.
The e-poster must consist of exactly one single slide.
The poster must be prepared using the official template provided by the Organising Committee.
All text, figures, tables and images should be clearly legible on screen.
Presenters must be available during the designated judging session to explain their work and answer questions.

⚠ Important Reminder

One slide only. Multi-slide presentations and physical posters are not permitted in the e-poster category.

Please ensure your file opens correctly before the presentation session.

Ethical Requirements

Scientific integrity and responsible research

✓ Obtain applicable ethics committee approval and informed consent.
✓ Maintain patient confidentiality and anonymise all clinical images.
✓ Disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources, where applicable.
✓ Plagiarism, data fabrication and data falsification are strictly prohibited.

📌 Special Note for All Presenters

All presenters must carry a copy of their paper or e-poster on a USB flash drive (pen drive) on the day of presentation.
